All I know is Spike Lee made a big stink about there being no black soldiers featured in Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers, and now he is making a WWII film. It seems contrived and I hate historically contrived works. Now, it could be amazing, but there have been so many new takes on the WWII movie, and most of them have seemed pretty dull.
